A qualitative, exploratory, and applied methodology is adopted, aiming to understand, analyze, and develop practical solutions to the issue at hand. Thus, the proposal involves creating a peri-hospital Normal Birth Center that, in addition to offering a qualified environment for childbirth, also serves as a reference point for women and mothers seeking information about humanized birth and related topics. The study and project implementation area encompasses the municipality of Baião, a region characterized by a diversity of community typologies, including quilombola settlements and riverside villages. These different realities presente geographical, social, and cultural challenges that directly affect access to healthcare and the quality of obstetric care. Faced with this dichotomy between modernity and tradition, the project proposes architectural solutions that consider accessibility to healthcare services in remote areas, while respecting traditional practices and promoting a dialogue between local knowledge and technological innovations.
