The central problem involves the structural degradation of concrete due to intense thermal variations, which can compromise the integrity and durability of the structure. The aim of the study was to investigate the thermal properties of concrete under working conditions at elevated temperatures. The methods used included the extraction of test specimens from the concrete wall and insulating concrete block for experimental measurements of thermal conductivity, linear expansion coefficient, and specific weight calculation. These were performed through thermomechanical analyses, evaluating linear thermal expansion as a function of temperature variation, a comparative method for thermal conductivity, and basic calculations for specific weight. The results showed lower thermal conductivity in the samples exposed to high temperatures compared to reference values for ambient temperature conditions. This reduction may be related to the deterioration of the thermal and mechanical properties of the concrete at elevated temperatures, which can lead to deformations and cracks.
