The main objective is to develop a system capable of autonomously activating water in urinals and monitoring flow in real-time, which results in financial savings and a reduction in environmental impact by limiting water waste. The system was developed using presence sensors, a flow sensor, a microcontroller (NodeMCU ESP32 ), a control relay, and a solenoid valve. The hardware was programmed using the Arduino development platform. This hardware operates in conjunction with a PostgreSQL database and a Node.js web server.
