Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8219Myrtales is a botanical order with great richness, containing approximately 308 genera and 13,005 species. This order comprises nine families, the majority of which are restricted or occur with greater diversity in the southern hemisphere. This work was prepared with secondary data from floristic and phytosociological collections carried out from 2018 to 2022, in bauxite mining areas of the company Hydro, Paragominas, in two environments: areas of Native Forest (FN) and areas undergoing natural regeneration (RN). The objective of the work was to carry out a floristic study of the order Myrtales in these two environments. A total of four families, nine genera and 15 species were found in native forest areas and those undergoing natural regeneration. The native forest presented greater richness, with the species Eugenia patrisii Vahl and Bellucia grossularioides (L.) Triana and their respective families, Myrtaceae and Melastomataceae, being the most abundant. Regeneration areas showed lower species richness, with B. grossularioides being the only species found. It is necessary to develop more research to understand how the natural regeneration processes of degraded areas occur, in order to apply more viable techniques to regenerate these environments. Myrtales is an order of great representation both in preserved forests and in areas undergoing forest regeneration, and should be considered as an important phytosociological and floristic component when choosing species for recovery programs for degraded areas.
