The system operates effectively with a real cycle of refrigeration by mechanical vapor compression using the refrigerant R-22. In the literature review, the essential concepts related to the operation of a refrigeration system are addressed, including thermodynamic processes, heat transfer mechanisms and the description of the main components, such as a compressor, evaporator, condenser, expansion valve and refrigerant. The methodology used follows the classic stages of development of heat exchanger projects, including the formulation of the problem, the definition of the operating conditions, the development of the concept, the dimensioning of the components and the calculations of the thermal energy of the system and the three-dimensional modeling of the beer cooler. The physical construction of the equipment involved the careful selection of materials, the elaboration of the structure, the assembly of the cooling system and the organization of the accessories necessary for the operation of the device. Performance tests were performed, including cooling, tightness, flow and thermal behavior, allowing the comparison of the experimental results with the theoretical values found in the literature. These results confirmed the feasibility of the project, demonstrating that the electric beer cooler is capable of keeping the beer at the desired temperature and meeting the established demand efficiently. It is concluded that the developed equipment has potential for domestic and also festive use, standing out for its low manufacturing cost, theoretically satisfactory performance and the possibilities of optimization in future works.
