In the capital of Pará, the housing scenario is characterized by a significant quantitative and qualitative deficit, particularly affecting the economically vulnerable population. These low-income families fall under the profile defined by Law 11.888/08, known as the Technical Assistance for Social Housing (ATHIS) Law, which guarantees them free access to qualified technical professionals for project development—a resource that could significantly improve their quality of life. Therefore, it is essential to investigate the population’s access to technical assistance and assess the impact of this support in a real renovation case.
