It arose from the research problem that led me to seek to understand the following question: “How can the processes of immersion and emersion from videodance help both in the creative processes and in the processes of artistic self-knowledge?”. The research methodology was based on the understanding of a post-positivist qualitative approach, the method was structured from the understanding of henomenological/hermeneutic thought and the type of research was based on the ethnographic model from the Experience of Immersion and Emersion - EIEs contained in the concept of “body-enchantment”, combined with the understanding of "body-archive". The result of this research was organized into three chapters: 1 - PROCESSES OF IMMERSION AND EMERSION; 2 - VIDEODANCE; 3 - CREATIVE PROCESSES IN DANCE AND SELF KNOWLEDGE”. It is expected that the result of this work may, in some way, contribute to instigating the construction of new knowledge about video dances based on Immersion and Emersion Experiences - EIES.
