Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/7691The present work presents a report of experiences written by four hands with an approach to monitoring in support of a student with visual impairment in the Music Degree Course at the Federal University of Pará. The interest in the work arose from the need to record the particularities in the process teaching-learning process for a person monitored with blindness, as well as the resence of the monitor in the actions involved. In view of this, the purpose of the work is to describe how the teaching-learning process took place for students with visual impairments at the UFPA Faculty of Music, with the support of the Assistance Monitoring. Furthermore, we intend to inform some legislation relating to people with visual impairment, providing information about Assistance Monitoring at UFPA, as well as pointing out the resources used by monitoring and monitored during the journey. The methodology is based on the report of experiences of both authors during an academic career, with a scientific basis and critical reflection. Several authors were used, such as Ferreira Júnior (2017), Masini (2007), Louro (2012), among others.
