Its presence is associated with weak sanitary support in underdeveloped countries and represents an important cause of illness worldwide. This study aimed to evaluate the prevalence of intestinal parasites in PLWHA assisted by the Testing and Counseling Center (CTA) of Altamira, Pará. The study included 104 patients, whose data were grouped into categories for association analysis (G test) and of correlation (phi-correlation test). The prevalence of intestinal parasitosis was 33.65% and the results suggest an association between age group and intestinal parasitosis (p = 0.0486). The prevalence of intestinal parasites in the PLWHA population is similar to that found in other studies and there was a predominance in patients with an average salary of one minimum wage. The data collected in the work are pioneering and represent important aspects in the control of enteroparasitosis in PLWHA.Acesso AbertoHIVEnteroparasitosePrevalênciaEnteroparasitosisPrevalenceCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::MEDICINA::CLINICA MEDICA::DOENCAS INFECCIOSAS E PARASITARIASAnálise da prevalência de enteroparasitoses em PVHA atendidos no Centro de Testagem e Aconselhamento - CTA de Altamira-PATrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
