Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8465This article is based on experiences during a supervised internship at a public school in the city of Abaetetuba and aims to analyze the teaching practices and challenges observed in a 2nd grade class at the Mariuadir Santos School. The theoretical basis for this study was the works of Luckesi (1990) and Libâneo (2006). Methodologically, this work is anchored in qualitative research, and as techniques and instruments, we used observation and structured interviews. The research locus was the Mariuadir School and the subjects were the school coordinator and the teacher of the 2nd grade class of elementary school. Based on the discussion of the five sections of analysis, we present situations that allow a reflective look at the school space as a formative environment. As a result, the research indicates that the observed teaching practices need to be constantly reevaluated and updated, allowing the teaching, in addition to being meaningful for the children, to be of quality. The integration of theory and practice in teaching activities can help teachers reorganize their teaching practices, making them meaningful and contextualized. It is concluded that the experience of Supervised Internship provides a fundamental experience for acquiring new knowledge, based on the unique situations we experience in the educational environment.
