The overall objective is to analyze the data made available by the Federal Supreme Court’s “Corte Aberta,” considering aspects such as data export, standardization, and the potential for reusing the information. The research is characterized as a case study with a qualitative and exploratory approach, using the Sebastopol Principles and the Standardized Systematization Tool as analytical instruments. The results demonstrate that, although the platform offers adequate visualization features and provides data dictionaries, limitations persist regarding the quality of the data for scientific and technical use, with fields filled with “NI” (Not Reported), which compromises the completeness and reusability of the information. This limitation highlights the occurrence of “informational friction” and reflects a “state of anomie” in the data recording structure, requiring additional efforts for manual processing.
