The qualitative and descriptive research was carried out through document analysis and bibliographic review, classifying the nature of the activities of each structural block of the workbook according to the main classes of the Dewey Decimal Classification (000 to 900). The results revealed that these materials, although part of a non-formal education activity, present a clear structure and intentional organization of knowledge that develops progressively according to the target audience’s age, encompassing a wide variety of areas of knowledge. Classes 600 (Science and Technology) and 200 (Religion) appear most frequently in all workbooks, followed by classes 300 (Social Sciences), 500 (Natural Sciences), and 700 (Arts and Recreation), evidencing a pedagogical planning aligned with the proposal of physical, mental, and spiritual development promoted by the organization. It was observed that these areas, although distinct, intersect in many activities, revealing the interdisciplinary and enriching character of the informational proposal of the Class Requirement Workbooks, while making their classification difficult due to the multidisciplinary nature of the activity. It is concluded that the Class Requirement Workbooks play a significant role in mediating knowledge, fostering the integration between knowledge and practice, encouraging personal development, social values, and environmental awareness among participants, while also highlighting the relevance of non-formal spaces and the importance of systematizing knowledge beyond the traditional context.
