Karine Jansen. The work is an investigation into performative activities on the Internet Social Network (ISN) Twitter, currently known as X. Here, we will give a brief history of forms of self-representation in History, from literature to the Internet, then we will explore some of the history of this social network, to then delve into how its self-representations, expressions, and interactions can be related to the theory of performance and play, proposed by Richard Schechner. Other objectives of this research are: to historically contextualize the internet and to discuss the particular operating dynamics of Twitter. Although it is a predominantly Theater related work, focusing on performance, we intend to bring in other fields of knowledge, such as Communication, in order to enrich the proposed interdisciplinary discussion. This is a qualitative and descriptive research, carried out with the aim of deepening discussions on Theater, Performance, and New Media. Procedures such as bibliographic research and field research on the social network were adopted.Acesso AbertoTeatroRepresentação teatralRedes sociaisPerformance (Arte)Arte e tecnologiaTheaterTheatrical performanceSocial networksPerformance (Art)Art and technologyCNPQ::LINGUISTICA, LETRAS E ARTES::ARTES::TEATROPerformances no Twitter: um breve ensaio sobre formas de autorrepresentação contemporâneasTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
