One viable way to minimize all of this is through education. Schools and universities are places where we can develop students' critical thinking about these problems. Education emerges as a way of bringing knowledge about forms of preservation and, in addition, of exploring the reality that we are living as a way to really arouse students' interest in the environment and to look for sustainable forms of survival. Recognizing the importance of education and consequently the role of the teacher in understanding the dynamics of social and environmental issues, the main objective was to verify how the socioenvironmental dimension is being inserted in the initial formation of teachers of Natural Sciences, more specifically in the Pedagogical Projects of the Natural Sciences Courses of the Federal University of Pará. This is a qualitative research, in which we use documentary analysis and explore the word as a unit of record.
