Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9449The literacy landscape in Brazil, particularly in the Amazon region, faces structural challenges that demand more precise and objective diagnostic tools to identify reading difficulties in the early years. This work presents the evaluation of an integrated technological solution based on low-cost eye tracking and gamification strategies as a support tool for pedagogical diagnosis. The general objective was to validate whether eye movement patterns collected during gamified tasks can differentiate reading proficiency levels. The methodology is characterized as applied research of a quantitative-descriptive nature, involving a sample group of 26 children from a public school in the municipality of Cametá, Pará. A software artifact was developed in Python with a data pipeline (ETL) for the ingestion, cleaning, and visualization of eye coordinates through time series and heatmaps. The results demonstrated a clear distinction between reading profiles: proficient participants showed a stable scalar pattern and progressive saccades, while beginner readers exhibited erratic trajectories, frequent regressions, and significantly higher fixation times. Spatial analysis confirmed the effectiveness of the interface design in directing visual attention to areas of pedagogical interest, with the consistent formation of hotspots over target words. It is concluded that the integration of eye tracking with gamification constitutes a viable and low-cost biometric metric, capable of providing quantitative evidence that complements subjective teacher assessment, aiding in the early screening of learning difficulties within the school context.Acesso AbertoRastreamento ocularEngenharia de softwareDiagnóstico pedagógicoEye trackingSoftware engineeringPedagogical diagnosisCNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA::CIENCIA DA COMPUTACAO::METODOLOGIA E TECNICAS DA COMPUTACAO::ENGENHARIA DE SOFTWARECNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAO::TOPICOS ESPECIFICOS DE EDUCACAO::EDUCACAO ESPECIALAvaliação de tecnologia de rastreamento ocular e gamificação no desenvolvimento de competências de leitura em crianças com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA)Trabalho de Curso - Graduação - MonografiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
