In this context, the BTS group stands out formed by RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook whose literary references and discourses on self-knowledge and personal development have influenced the cultural habits of their fan base the ARMY. This research focused on their influence on reading promotion through the group’s actions. Thus, the general objective was to analyze the influence of BTS on the promotion of reading among members of the ARMY fandom in Pará, with emphasis on the Namjooning Club. To this end a quali-quantitative study of descriptive and exploratory nature, was carried out. Data were collected through a semi-structured questionnaire applied to 21 participants of the Namjooning Club, a non-probabilistic convenience sample. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistion and qualitative data through content analysis, with information triangulation. In this way, it is observed that the majority of participants have a higher education level, a long-standing connection with the fandom, and consolidated reading habits, with more than 90% reading regularly. The strong influence of Kim Namjoon (RM) stands out, with 76, 2% of respondents being highly influenced, the broad knowledge of the concept of “Namjooning”, and positive changes in habits with 71,4% starting to read more after contact with BTS. The results also reveal the resumption of the habit diversification of genres, especially healing literature and Asian literature, and the central role of the Namjooning Club as a mediator of reading practices.
