Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9220The use of vibratory hammers in driving metal piles has become increasingly common in Brazilian engineering. However, given its relatively recent use, the procedure still lacks specific methodologies and formulations to support and ensure its use. Therefore, based on a set of 27 load tests that will be analyzed using statistical tools, the initial objective was to evaluate the performance of existing load capacity prediction methodologies for metal piles driven using impact hammers, comparing them with the values obtained in load tests performed on piles driven using vibratory hammers. Finally, using the load tests used in the comparison, an attempt was made, using the same statistical tools, to develop a specific method for predicting the load capacity of metal piles driven using a vibratory hammer. The suggested methodology showed better statistical performance when compared to the other methods. Thus, the work is of great value to the geotechnical community, serving to guide future work and, given a wider range of load tests, the consolidation of a specific method for predicting the load capacity of metal piles driven using a vibratory hammer.Acesso AbertoCapacidade de cargaMartelo vibratórioMartelo de ImpactoAvaliação estatísticaLoad capacityVibratory hammerImpact hammerStatistical evaluationCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA CIVILSobre martelo vibratório: avaliação da capacidade de carga à compressão de 27 provas de carga em perfis metálicos – primeira aproximaçãoAbout vibratory hammer: evaluation of compressive load capacity of 27 load tests on metal profiles – first approachTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - MonografiaAttribution 3.0 Brazil
