It aims to understand how therapeutic, religious, and symbolic knowledge are articulated in their daily practices, highlighting continuities and reinterpretations in the contemporary context. The study is based on interviews with Dona Roseane and Dona Socorro, used as historical sources in dialogue with specialized literature. It analyzes practices such as prayers, blessings, and spiritual works as forms of socially legitimized, non-institutionalized knowledge. The results indicate that popular healing practices, articulated with popular religiosity and Umbanda, constitute a system that integrates body, spirituality, and nature, emphasizing the role of these women in sustaining such practices in the Amazonian context.
