Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/6268This article seeks to analyze and problematize the creation of an androcentric history, which was extended to educational areas from the birth of history as a discipline. This had a great social impact on women's lives and strengthened the patriarchal system in force in the country since the colonial period. Furthermore, this article seeks to discuss how this silencing of women in historiography and patriarchy corroborates the practice of violence that increases daily even with the legislative achievements of the feminist movement in the country. It is the objective of this work to present, as a solution to face this violence, the reformulation of history teaching aiming at gender issues through teaching and learning practices in schools. These issues are being much discussed in educational circles as a key debate to be placed within classrooms to try to contain the alarming growth of violence within schools, and to educate a more egalitarian society.
