The methodology used was a bibliographical and documentary research on the sources of information that approach the subject, selecting articles, books, and periodicals about Astronomy. A theoretical approach was also taken on sources of information, for which seven astronomical journals were selected in electronic format, and as a criterion of choice, those published in Brazil and free access were chosen. The journals' websites were also used to search for information about them. There is also an introduction on sources of information, electronic journals, journals on astronomy, analyzing each of the seven journals chosen, and how to disseminate sources of information in astronomy and what means are used for that purpose.
