Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/10293This article investigates the potential of GeoGebra software for teaching and learning mathematics in a context that promotes communication in the classroom. To this end, a metaanalysis of the works published in the last five years (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022) of the articles available in the international journal of GeoGebra was carried out. Out of 61 works analyzed, only 4 dealt with mathematical communication, which points to a shortage in this area of research. However, the results showed fundamental gains for the development of dialogue with the help of GeoGebra, providing positive support in mathematics classes.
