As well as permeability, porosity plays a role in this classification, however, it represents the fluid storage capacity. Although the two properties, in their effective forms, are linked and numerous studies have been conducted in an attempt to correlate them, representative mathematical correlations remain open in certain scenarios, especially considering the influence of pressure. The present work seeks to establish correlations that seek to quantify the values of these properties in a laboratory confinement environment different from those measured. To establish the correlation, plugs of calcitic carbonate rock from the Indiana Limestone outcrop, widely used in acid stimulation tests in the laboratory, were analyzed regarding its permeability, porosity and compressibility. The analyzes of the data obtained were performed using models present in the literature. A significant correlation between the studied parameters was obtained from the data analysis. The present result allows a better interpretation of experimental results and the feeding of field simulation models dependent on empirical equations using this rock.Acesso AbertoPermeabilidadePetrofísicaPorosidadeRocha carbonáticaPermeabilityPetrophysicPorosityCarbonate rockCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA QUIMICA::TECNOLOGIA QUIMICA::PETROLEO E PETROQUIMICAEstimativa da relação permeabilidade/porosidade em ambiente pressurizado em Indiana LimestoneTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - ArtigoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
