Acesso em:https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/5541The Family Health Strategy – “Estratégia de Saúde da Família” (ESF), implemented in 1994 in Brazil by the Ministry of Health, is integrated into the National Health Policy. The ESF teams operate in delimited territories, designated as microareas; which means that this territory has specific characteristics and priorities, which will be observed from the situational diagnosis, which will contribute to the planning and programming of health actions and services. In this research, we sought to indicate the priority spaces for public intervention in the areas identified as health vulnerability in the Guajará I USF – “Unidade de Saúde da Família”, Municipality of Ananindeua, State of Pará, Brazil, from the use of geotechnologies applied to urban planning. Applying geoprocessing and geotechnologies, in the areas covered by the Guajará I UFS, it was possible to cross-reference the data obtained in the unit, on site, with ibge census data and openstreetmap's cartographic database, using ArcMap GIS as the main work tool. Through this program it was possible to spatialize the information, thus obtaining cartographic products, in order to perform a better interpretation of the facts and, thus, locate the areas considered vulnerable in health. In order to define the health vulnerability zones within the coverage area of the Guajará UBS, the Hierarchical Analytical Process (Analytic Hierarchy Process) was applied. The maps were divided into eight themes, including households and residents, income, education, water supply, risk zones of transmission of diseases by vectors, sewage, Risk of contamination of wells and springs near rudimentary pits (result of synthesis of water supply data via wells or springs and sanitary sewage via rudimentary pits, using multifactorial analysis via AHP method), garbage and infrastructure. The zones of vulnerability in health were divided into 5 classes of very low vulnerability to the very high vulnerability, and it was evident that the regions near the drains, popularly known as "baixadas" (floodplains), are much more vulnerable, thus having a higher risk of contagion to diseases. However, the zones of vulnerability are not only located in these points, but can be observed north of the study area, where even without any drainage has a high vulnerability, but also there are deficiencies in services and infrastructure and a socioeconomic pattern of lower income.
