Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9384This study investigates how socioeconomic variables influence the academic performance of students in the Information Systems program at the Federal University of Par´a (UFPA), considering the campuses of Camet´a, Limoeiro, and Oeiras. The main objective was to develop an interactive educational dashboard that integrates socioeconomic data, collected through a questionnaire, and academic data obtained from institutional records, enabling exploratory analyses and the identification of patterns relevant to academic management. An applied quantitative approach was employed, involving online survey data collection, data cleaning and consolidation using Python and the pandas library, dashboard development with the Streamlit framework, and descriptive and inferential analyses, including Pearson correlation and comparisons by campus, gender, and academic period. The academic performance indicators used in the analyses were the Coefficient of General Academic Performance (CRG) and the Partial Academic Performance Coefficient by period (CRPL), calculated according to UFPA’s institutional regulations. The results indicate relationships between family income and academic performance indicators, significant variations across campuses and gender groups, and evidence of a higher propensity for dropout associated with financial difficulties. The dashboard proved to be a useful decision-support tool, allowing the identification of at-risk student groups and providing insights to support institutional interventions.
