Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/10258This article analyzes the union strategies mobilized by the Sindicato das Trabalhadoras e dos Trabalhadores em Educação Pública do Estado do Pará (SINTEPP) in the struggle for the implementation of the Unified Career, Position and Remuneration Plan (PCCR) in Pará state public education between 2010 and 2023. The research adopts a qualitative and exploratory approach, combining bibliographic review, historical survey of legal and political milestones, analysis of digital union publications, and semi-structured interviews with subjects linked to the mobilization trajectory of the category. The study is situated within the field of History of the Present Time, considering that the dispute over the Unified PCCR involves sources produced during the course of the events themselves, such as legislation, SINTEPP institutional publications, and oral memories of agents directly involved in the process. The results indicate that the implementation of the Unified PCCR did not result from a spontaneous concession by the State, but from a prolonged trajectory of collective mobilization marked by strikes, assemblies, public demonstrations, negotiations, communication practices, and institutional pressure. SINTEPP’s publications reveal different forms of union legitimacy supported by legal-administrative, political, moral, and social registers, while the interviews reveal the interviewees’ views regarding category unity, class consciousness, and the valorization of education workers.
