Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8292This work aims to discuss “the importance of games and games for the development of the teaching-learning process of early childhood education students, in a school in the city of Breves”, with it we seek to develop reflections that could respond to this problem. The general objective of this research was: Recognize the importance of games and games for the development of the teaching-learning process of early childhood education students at a school in the city of Breves. Specific objectives include: Identifying how the use of recreational activities, such as games and games, occurs in the researched class; analyze the understanding of teachers about the importance of using games for the development of the teaching-learning process in early childhood education; analyze the possible contributions of using games and games to the development of the teaching-learning process in early childhood education. The methodology was initially developed with a bibliographical survey, to build the theoretical framework, followed by the actions that allowed the development of the investigation, which followed a qualitative approach, in which questionnaires were used to collect data from teachers.
