Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/2899This study was performed with the aim of understanding the facts that determined the foundation of the religious institution supported by Saint Dorothy’s Masters Nuns, Daughters of the Sacred Hearts, knowing the reasons for extending their educational mission till Brazil and analyzing the curricular methodology used to give Christian and human basis to the students. What were the motivations that raised up the religious institution supported by Saint Dorothy’s Masters Nuns, Daughters of the Sacred Hearts? What was the motivation for expanding their mission in Brazilian country by means of educational actions? Does the way of teaching organization curriculum used bay their institution help to develop Christian and human values in a particular person? The search has a bibliographic and documental character that has adopted studies on Brazilian educational history as a theoretical reference, reading authors such as Sanfelice (2009), Gatti Junior (2007), Saviani (2005), Sene e Costa (2010), besides documents that say the Institute history from XIX century to the year 2018.
