For this, a supervised internship of the pedagogy course at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), Campus Castanhal (CCAST) was carried out in order to produce knowledge and reflections on pedagogical practice, mainly linked to the context of educational institutions. This experience report consists of a descriptive qualitative research, from the observation of the classroom, of a school of the municipal teaching network, in the municipality of Castanhal/Pará. A questionnaire to 5 (five) teachers was used. The results point to the performance of teachers with age and length of service in teaching, but without adequate specialization to work in the EJAI. The main challenges are: lack of teaching professional development, specific to EJAI, working time, lack of motivation, lack of incentives from the institutions that are linked. It is concluded that, despite the limitations for teaching at EJAI, the contribution of the supervised internship was positive for the formative and academic experience, allowing not only to know the particularities of these professionals, but also to put in perspective the need for continuing education for the advancement and development of the EJAI.Acesso AbertoFormação de professoresEstágio supervisionadoEJAITeacher trainingSupervised internshipCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANASTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
