Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9929This study aimed to reflect on the contribution of the Supervised Internship in Elementary Education to teacher training, drawing on academic experiences from the Pedagogy program at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), Bragança Campus. The research was guided by the following question: What is the contribution of the Supervised Internship in Elementary Education to teacher training? The internship took place at the Jorge Daniel Souza Ramos Municipal Elementary School in Bragança, Pará, with a 2nd-grade class. The research is qualitative in nature, grounded in experiences gained during the observation, planning, and classroom teaching stages. During the intervention, work was conducted using the *parlenda* (traditional rhyming verse) genre through activities involving reading, oral communication, comprehension, writing, and sentence construction, thereby fostering active student participation and the development of literacy skills. The results demonstrated that the internship enabled the integration of theory and practice, fostering the development of pedagogical competencies, critical reflection on teaching, and an understanding of the school environment.
