Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/6972Bees, as some of the Hymenoptera’s superfamily Apoidea are known, are specialized organisms, that collect pollen. They are by far one of the most important insects in the pollination process in natural and industrial crops. Bees are present in almost all continents and are included in an order with more than 150,000 described species. In Pará, there are approximately 500 species of bees described and in degraded areas it is usually common to use bees for landscape reconstructions. Damage to these organisms cause a decline in bee populations in the world, which directly impacts the reproduction of native plants, the study of populations, and diversity such as some natural (droughts and seasonality in flowering) or anthropogenic (fires, pollution, and pest control with pesticides). This damage may happen in several ways, but loss of habitat (due to deforesting or fire, for example), and pesticides are the most common. Even in green urban areas, these organisms are encountered, often under anthropic pressure. The objective of this study is to evaluate the impact of wildfires in the diversity of bees in an urban forest fragment in Bragança (PA). The area is intended to become the Bragança Botanical Garden. A total of 200 individuals of 39. Although small, the area has a wide diversity, including rare species. Epanthidium tigrinum, Exomalopsis (Phanomalopsis) sp., Melitoma danunciae, Melitomella sp., Megachile verrucosa, and Plebeia aff. flavocincta represent new records for the state. One species of Trigona is a possible new species. The record of Tropidopedia punctifrons, a species from Cerrado, indicates the presence of savannah islands in the region of Bragança. The results alert us to the need of further studies in the area and the conservation of urban forest areas.
