However, teaching this discipline at both primary and higher education levels still presents a number of obstacles. Contributing factors include excessive abstraction in its presentation and a lack of connection with the students' realities. Therefore, Mathematical Modeling can contribute to improving the teaching of this subject, since it develops critical thinking, logical reasoning and places students as active subjects within the teaching and learning process. This work aims to propose a modeling activity on the contents of area and volume of geometric solids of revolution, using the Geogebra software. Methodologically, the proposal will follow the mathematical modeling steps according to Dionísio Burak (1992, 2008, 2024) and will be aimed at teachers and students of mathematics courses, and related areas, who seek an application of the theoretical results of Integral Calculus. This theoretical study may contribute to demystifying mathematics as a difficult subject and guide teachers to contextualize the subject of Integral Calculus to the reality of students, providing opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and experiences among students and with the teacher. The method used in the modeling should be analyzed in light of its functionality and applicability, understanding the advantages and disadvantages of its use in calculating the area and volume of a solid of revolution.
