Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/6824This article is the result of the course completion work organized in accordance with Normative Instruction No. 01/2023 PROEG/UFPA, which provides in an exceptional and temporary way the academic guidelines for the standardization and carrying out of the activities of the Course Completion Work – TCC, making its form of preparation, presentation and defense more flexible, due to the consequences arising from the COVID-19 pandemic; with regard to Art 4, paragraph I, which concerns the preparation of a scientific article. In view of this, I present results and reflections from teaching internship IV at the Núcleo de Oficinas do Curro Velho, as a student of the Dance Degree course at the Federal University of Pará, the initiative to build a research proposal from a decolonial anti-racist perspective in order to break with the marginalization of peripheral black dances, for this reason I directed my action plan to funk, in which I study the swing of the twerk and funk aspects in the funk musical genre. The intervention activity aimed to work with the public that frequents the Foundation: young black people from the outskirts of Belém do Pará. The theoretical-methodological guidelines that guided the preparation of this article came from a bibliographic survey and experience report, combined with the productions de Marques e Otelo (2018), Pimenta (2017), Gohn (2020), among others. Therefore, the results revealed that Ritmo Funk in general is part of the peripheral communities of Belém and the region, perhaps not as much as the regional rhythm of brega, but it is there at sound system parties, family parties and concert halls. The importance of approaching a cultural phenomenon that is widespread in the media, both positively and negatively, is very important so that the dance class does not become an environment without criticism and an escape from reality. Sharing transversal dialogues on social issues, studies on music, body and dance in non-formal educational spaces on the periphery, reveals itself as a proposal for anti-racist education in a non-place that is marginalized and, at the same time, a locus that enhances knowledge, and also reaffirms the teaching of funk as an access for young black people to art and dance itself.Acesso AbertoDanças PeriféricasFunkReboladoEducação AntirracistaPeripheral DancesFunkTwerkingAnti-Racist EducationCNPQ::LINGUISTICA, LETRAS E ARTES::ARTES::DANCADiálogos periféricos transversais: um debate sobre o Funk como uma Educação Antirracista em DançaTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Artigo
