Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9624This study evaluated the Walkability Index of the area of influence of the commercial center of Mocajuba–PA, aiming to analyze pedestrian mobility conditions and the quality of urban infrastructure. Sixteen sidewalks distributed across four blocks were analyzed using the Walkability Index tool (iCam), version 2.0, which considers 15 indicators grouped into six categories. The results showed an overall walkability index of 0.75, classified as insufficient, highlighting problems such as narrow sidewalks, lack of universal accessibility, inadequate pedestrian crossings, and irregular occupation of public space by commercial activities.
