Acesso em:.http://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/1538The main objective of this article is to analyze the violation of the conversational maxims in strips of the character Mafalda, pointing a generation of implicatures and what effect of meaning they cause in a communicative context. The study is setting in the field of Pragmatic, which will be discussed during this paper. It was used as theoretical reference to the analysis of corpus, the theory of conversational implicatures of Herbert Paul Grice (1982), showing the difference between the meaning of the speaker, that is, what the speaker left implicit (non said), and the meaning of the sentence, being that is explicit (said). It will be approached, still, the cooperative principle constituted by a group of conversational maxims, which are: quality, quantity, relation and mode.
