It starts from the principle that language is constituted as a sociocultural process, in which interaction with the environment and with others plays a central role in the appropriation of writing. To this end, the research relies on the National Curriculum Guidelines for Early Childhood Education (2009) and the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC/2017), identifying the fields of experience that address playfulness and the construction of written language. The methodology adopted is qualitative, through a bibliographic review grounded in Vygotsky and scholars who explore the relationship between language and child development. The results indicate that the learning of writing should not be anticipated in a mechanistic way, but rather promoted in meaningful contexts that stimulate expression and communication. Thus, the pedagogical approach should consider the overall development of the child, favoring their insertion into the literate culture without neglecting their playful and interactive experiences.
