Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/4614In the period of September the December of 2005 they had been collected, through proper protocol of research, of 50 patients interned in units of intensive therapy in the Ready Hospital Municipal Aid of Belém- unit Mário Pinotti, the analysis of the data with the objective was made to determine the incidence the etiology and related infectious factors of risk to the central venoso catheter in intensive therapy. In this casuistry presence of microorganisms in the periorificial skin to the insertion of the catheter was found, in the cannon of the catheter and the tip of the catheter, abstaining itself,of the 50 patients, only 6, that they had not presented positive culture in one of the ones of these focos (corresponds 12%). Bacteremias associates to the central venoso cateterismo was of 8% (equivalent the 4 studied patients of the 50). The found microorganisms more had been aeruginosa Pseudomonas and Acinetobacter baumanii The association to another invasive procedure was identified as changeable independetes to the local infection. Associated 0 variable the bacteremia was the insertion in subclávia vein.
