This study aimed to evaluate in space and time the Heat Spots (FC) of the Tocantins Araguaia Hydrographic Region (TAHR), during a period of 16 years (2005-2020). To analyze the causes of the CF's, heat maps were produced using the Kernel Density estimator, maps of precipitation and land use and land cover, obtained from the databases of the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), through the Merged Satellite- Gauge Precipitation Estimate – Final Run (GPM_3IMERGM) version 0.7 and the MapBiomas Project, respectively. To work with the data obtained, the Qgis software, version 3.10 A Coruña, was used. The results show that the Kernel estimator was efficient in the analysis and correlation of the data and the Tocantins Baixo and Rio Araguaia sub-basins present the highest rainfall and FC density. It is concluded that the annual precipitation variable alone was not enough to justify the CF intensity verified, the fires and deforestation in the basin are for agribusiness purposes and that the presence of Conservation Units of Sustainable and Integral Use, as well as the Lands Indigenous people act as a conservation mechanism in the TAHR. In addition, this work can be used as a CF monitoring tool, this will serve as a subsidy for natural resource management and mitigation against future potential losses and damages associated with the impact of climate change from the TAHR.Acesso AbertoBacias hidrográficasSistema de informação geográficaQueimadasDensidade de KernelHydrographic basinsGeographic information systemBurnsKernel densityCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA SANITARIA::RECURSOS HIDRICOSCNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA::GEOCIENCIAS::METEOROLOGIA::CLIMATOLOGIAAvaliação espaço-temporal de focos de calor na região hidrográfica Tocantins Araguaia, situada em parte da Amazônia Oriental e do Cerrado brasileiro (2005-2020)Spatial-temporal evaluation of hot points in the Tocantins Araguaia hydrographic region, located in part of the eastern amazon and brazilian Cerrado (2005-2020)Trabalho de Curso - Graduação - Artigo
