Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8229This study analyzes the technical and financial feasibility of a Residential Grid-Connected Photovoltaic System (RGCPS) in Barcarena (PA), a region with the highest energy tariffs in Brazil. Based on technical sizing, which considered local solar irradiation, energy consumption, and available roof space, a system composed of seven 555 Wp modules and a 3 kW inverter was proposed, capable of generating 5,534.75 kWh/year. The financial analysis, conducted over a 25-year horizon, demonstrated a return on investment within 2 years, with accumulated savings exceeding R$ 400,000, highlighting the economic viability of investing in solar energy for residential consumers.
