Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9904This undergraduate thesis investigates the dramaturgy of dance and of the body through the proposition and use of choreo-dramaturgical stitches (alinhavos coreo dramatúrgicos) in teaching and creating contemporary dance. The main objective of this research is to understand how these stitches can operate as sensitive strategies for articulating body, movement, and meaning-making, thus enhancing both pedagogical and creative processes. The study conceives the body as a space of experience, language, and production of meaning, understanding movement as the result of textures woven between body, space, time, and affects. Methodologically, it is developed through a qualitative, autoethnographic approach (Fortin & Mello, 2009; Meyer, 2014), articulating pedagogical practices, creative processes, and theoretical reflections derived from dance dramaturgy (Alvim, 2012; Santana, 2008; Zenicola, 2011; Scialom, 2021), body studies and phenomenology (Merleau-Ponty, 2011; Gil, 2004; Porpino, 2018), as well as discussions on collaboration and poetic devices in the contemporary scene (Costa & Ramos, 2018; Lucas & Lignelli, 2017). The experiences developed in teaching assistantships, workshops, and formal and non-formal educational contexts demonstrate that choreo-dramaturgical stitches operate as open, sensitive, and relational strategies, capable of fostering singular creative processes and more horizontal pedagogical practices.
