Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9395This systematic literature review aims to conduct an exploratory investigation of data augmentation techniques employed in computer vision tasks, specifically in the creation of open-pit mining road datasets for assessing pavement conditions. Conducted under the PRISMA protocol guidelines, the search resulted in the qualitative analysis of 8 primary studies. The predominant use of classical geometric techniques was observed, complemented by photometric and synthetic approaches, primarily used to overcome data scarcity, reduce overfitting, and increase the generalization capacity of the models. However, an absence of studies with a quantitative evaluation of the isolated impact of these techniques was identified, as well as research focused directly on the detection of structural road defects (such as potholes).
