Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/3542This paper aims to contribute to the strengthening of basic health care in the Santa Maria do Arraiolos community in the municipality of Melgaço - Pará, in addition to helping to minimize the gaps in basic health care offered at the Alcivaldo R. Health Post. Peixoto, located on the Tajapuru River in the San Francisco Extractive Community. Thus, it is proposed not only to participate in the Santa Maria do Arraiolos extractivist community, but also in the others who are beneficiaries of the service in the referred health post, so that, together with the municipal management, they can dialogue, through their legal representatives and the entities and partner institutions in order to improve the service offered and to implement health policies aimed at traditional peoples and communities. In this sense, through this plan of action we claim that the State can fulfill its duty, offering better conditions of access to basic health services. The paper uses as a source for discussion the information obtained through action research conducted in the communities, dialoguing with the bibliographical references pertinent to the theme, besides the Brazilian legislation and ILO Convention169 that support the right to health of Traditional Peoples and Communities. .
