Among these advantages are: better performance in relation to the efficiency of conventional cars; the absence of CO2 emissions, which contribute to atmospheric pollution; and the reduction of noise pollution caused by combustion engines. In addition, research and studies into Vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology have emerged in recent years, which aim to help the electricity distribution infrastructure due to the growing number of electric cars on the planet. In this context, simulations are made in OpenDSS, using parameters from real equipment, in order to obtain results that reflect operational conditions close to reality and, thus, assess the impacts of V2G on the electric power distribution network. The results show that V2G can be an effective tool for managing demand and improving the stability of the electricity system, helping to avoid damage to the grid and maximizing the efficiency of energy generation.
