Many current studies address the modeling of these environments through digital elevation models, because by applying these models to the study, it is possible to obtain a dynamic view of the processes occurring in these complex systems, which are the estuaries. The estuary of the river Caeté aim of this study, is located in the coastal Bragantina inserted on the coast (NE) of the state of Pará. It is 100 km long with a width between margins of 100 m, near the city of Bragança, widening gradually to 12 km at its mouth. Were tested twelve interpolation methods, using bathymetric data collected in this estuary, in order to assess which method best characterizes the area of study. The interpolation methods are needed to estimate the values of unsampled points in a certain area.To achieve the objectives of this study, some steps have been followed. First, a literature review, after using the software Surfer 9 together with the software Global Mapper 10. The generation of the final map was obtained using the Kriging method, which proved to be the most appropriate to characterize the estuary and was more faithful to the original data. The morphology can also be viewed, revealing sandy bars along the estuary.
