In order for the socket that underwent extraction to be able to receive the dental implant, R.O.G techniques are previously used with biomaterials. These act as a biomechanical barrier, providing maintenance of the socket after extraction, tissue integration and regeneration. They can be produced from different materials, such as ceramics, metals, silicone, polymethylmethacrylate, polyethylene, among others. The objective of this work is to present a clinical case of oral rehabilitation with prosthesis on implant in the posterior region of the mandible, using condensation silicone as a biomechanical barrier, a material used in prosthesis molding, which proved to be an easily accessible biocompatible material, that already exists on the market.
