The research evaluates preventive and predictive maintenance efficiency in a copper mining company, using data from five pieces of equipment during October 2024. Results indicate that the AMS indicator achieved an average of 86%, suggesting good adherence to preventive maintenance schedules but below the 90% target. Conversely, the AMC indicator scored only 28%, exposing deficiencies in predictive maintenance planning and execution. Through tables and charts, the identified deviations reflect issues such as high operational demand and resource shortages. The study concludes that strategically combining preventive and conditional maintenance is essential to optimize availability and reduce operational costs.
