However, with the advancement and cheaper technology it was possible to implement this concept in the residential environment called "Domotic". There are several possible implementations such as: brightness control; room temperature control; power consumption adjustment. All these applications are geared towards a single goal: improve people's quality of life by helping them carry out everyday tasks, increasing practicality, comfort, safety, among other important values for quality of life. Therefore, this work proposes a system that automates the irrigation of a plant so that the user has one less concern in his routine. Using Arduino Duemilanove hardware, the concept of smart homes, home automation, data processing, electrical circuits and programming.
