This research stems from the concept that geography allows for an understanding of the totality of space as a social construct. Thus, with this production, we seek to enable non-specialized and curious readers to access bibliographic material that presents the field critically, revealing what it represents, what it produces, and its contradictions. For, when it comes to bibliographic productions, there is a gap regarding an accessible approach to agrarian space through a critical lens, where there is an abundance of descriptive and neutral materials. Therefore, with this research, we aim to produce a booklet, consisting of a problematizing approach that represents agrarian space beyond its landscape. As a result, the booklet entitled "O que existe além da cerca?" was produced. Understanding what agrarian space is and what it represents, organized into eleven topics that, throughout its development, present and problematize some discussions pertinent to the Brazilian countryside, in addition to a cross-reference glossary to aid reading.
