At the end of the study it was possible to infer that the repossession of stressed enterprises is, in fact, beneficial for the market and for society. This conclusion is supported by evidence that shows that the acquisition of these assets by investors can be advantageous due to the discounts offered. Besides, by recovering and marketing these enterprises, there is the possibility of obtaining profits above the market average. This finding is supported by studies that highlight the potential for appreciation of these assets after their restructuring. Therefore, considering the available scientific information, we conclude that the repossession of stressed enterprises is a beneficial strategy both for the buyers and for those who repossess and sell them.
