In this way, various proposals are launched by area researchers to minimize the generation of waste, which goes from the maximizing process for the loss of raw material to be minimal, in order to make low costs and maximize profit, to the use of waste in the production of new materials. In this context, this paper aims to propose the use of kaolin wastes, a company located in the state of Pará, in the production of zeolite A sodium. The company in question, operates the mine in kaolinitic district grass and produces high quality kaolin for paper industry. Thus, one of the mineralogical characterization of Capim kaolin reject region, donated by that company, was performed to obtain a greater understanding of its characteristics and how these can influence the synthesis of zeolite A. The zeolite synthesis of Na from kaolin waste was performed using a new synthesis route, subjecting the reaction mixture to aging stage, before autoclaving at elevated temperature. In this aging step the reaction mixture was stirred for 24 h at room temperature after which time it was taken synthesis by varying the time in 1, 4, 6, 12, 18, 20 and 24 h, keeping if the fixing temperature at 110°C. The results of X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) showed that the kaolin waste consists mainly of kaolinite with very low amount of impurities. XRD data also showed that the waste kaolinite has a high degree of structural order. Zeolite NaA was obtained from 4 h. However the times of 6, 12, 18, 20 and 24 to NaA zeolite was obtained with high purity and high degree of structural order. This work showed that the NaA zeolite can be produced in less time through the synthesis route used.
