In the Amazon region of Pará, this issue takes on even more worrying dimensions due to socioeconomic, cultural, and geographic factors that increase the vulnerability of victims and hinder reporting, protection, and intervention processes. This study aims to analyze documentary data on the occurrence of sexual violence against children in the region, seeking to understand its specificities and social implications. The research adopts a bibliographic and documentary approach, grounded in academic literature, legislation, and institutional reports. The results highlight the urgency of integrated public policies and prevention and response strategies that consider the particularities of the Amazonian context.
